You always have germs in your mouth. Even after brushing your teeth. While your awake, you're constantly swallowing, washing the germs that cause bad breath away. When you are asleep you don't swallow nearly as often. This lets the germs sit in your mouth longer and kind of start to breed – causing sort of a build up of these bad breath germs, thus giving you potty breath even after a brief nap. Happy napping!
